Hi. 

My name is Dragana, and I have been teaching English since 2002. One thing I love about this  job is that I can meet people from different cultures and different walks of life. My youngest  student was a one-year-old baby, and the oldest one was an eighty-year-old woman who was  the first professor of astrophysics in my country. 
初めまして！私はドラガナです。2002年から英語を教えています。この仕事が大好きな理由のひとつは、さまざまな文化や人生を歩んできた人たちに出会えることです。私の最年少の生徒は1歳の赤ちゃんで、最年長の生徒は80歳の女性です。彼女は私の国で初めて宇宙物理学の教授になった人でした。

I come from a small Serbian town known for its mineral water and white marble. Every year  there is a festival called "Marble and Sounds", and artists from different parts of the world  come and create marble sculptures in the town's park. I love spending time in this park. I can  read a book, go jogging or see a concert or a theatrical play here. 
私の出身地は、ミネラルウォーターと白い大理石で有名なセルビアの小さな町です。毎年"Marble and Sounds "という大理石の彫刻を制作するお祭りがあり、世界各地から公園にアーティストが集まります。私はこの公園で過ごすのが大好きです！ここでは、本を読んだり、ジョギングをしたり、コンサートや演劇を観ることもできます。

I usually spend my summers in Montenegro, where my relatives live. The peaks of Durmitor  Mountain are the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning. After a short walk through a  forest, I can enjoy the awe-inspiring sight of the River Tara canyon. 
夏休みは、親戚の住むモンテネグロで過ごすことが多いです。朝起きると、まずドゥルミトル山の峰々が目に飛び込んできます。そして、森を少し歩くと、タラ川渓谷の雄大な景色を楽しむことができます。

I love baking and making desserts with fruit from my garden. Serbian men traditionally use fruit  to make a strong alcoholic drink called rakija. Women make jams and slatko, a sweet and  delicious appetizer. 
庭で採れた果物を使ってお菓子やデザートを作るのも大好きです。セルビアでは、男性がフルーツを使ってラキヤというアルコール度数の高いお酒をつくることが伝統です。女性はジャムやスラトコという甘くておいしい前菜をつくります。

I love playing word games and doing Sudoku puzzles. I also enjoy making crossword puzzles of  my own. I have just started a course in psychology, and I am especially interested in creative  thinking.
また、言葉遊びや数独が好きで、自分でクロスワードパズルを作ります。心理学の勉強を始めたばかりなので、特に今はクリエイティブ・シンキング(創造的思考)に興味があります。

Are you familiar with this task? Here's a small clue: the phrase "think outside the box"  might have been inspired by this puzzle.

I have great respect for Japanese culture, and I hope I can learn more about it while working for  Best Teacher.
私は日本の文化をとても尊敬しているので、ベストティーチャーで働きながら、もっと学ぶことができたらいいなと思っています。
