The Perfect Gerund
完了形の動名詞を使って講師と会話してみましょう。
完了形の動名詞は基本的に「having＋過去分詞」という形になります。 述語が表す時よりさらに前のことを表したい場合に活用できます。 回答例では、「優勝した」のは「誇りに思っている」より更に前のことなので、この表現が有効です。 【回答例】 They are proud of having won the first prize last year. 彼らは昨年優勝したことを誇りに思っている
