- Hi! My name is Christine Mae Gallentes. I am a TESOL and TEFL-certified teacher. I have been in academia since 2015, working in both universities and language schools here in Cebu. It has always been my passion to teach and inspire learners to grow through language learning. Besides that, I enjoy watching anime, traveling, connecting with nature, and carpentry. I also had the privilege of traveling to and experiencing Japanese culture during my 6-month stay in Yamanashi, Japan. This experience continuously drives me to study, and I successfully passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N4, which allows me to better understand and connect with my Japanese students.
Furthermore, having been exposed to a diverse ESL and language community, I can guarantee to deliver meaningful and engaging classes, as I always prioritize a student-centered approach in my teaching and engagements.
