自己紹介
I am a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, Department of Biology and Ecology, University of Niš, with a Ph.D. in biology (Experimental biology and biotechnology - Molecular biology, Ph.D. thesis title: “Analysis of selected Glioblastoma markers”).
Since 2015 I have been intensively engaged in University level teaching/examining activity within various courses. I was implementing contemporary teaching methods, such as “mind mapping” and mnemonics.
I have experience teaching in English to exchange students from the EU, Africa, and Asia. Besides, I was involved in private lecturing of the English language for more than 6 years. I am also a certified Karate-do instructor (2. DAN, Shotokan), with more than 20 years of practicing experience and 5 years of running the martial arts club as chief instructor involved in class organization and examinations.
As part of my bachelor's and master's studies, I attended and successfully passed several courses concerning pedagogical sciences: Pedagogy, General Psychology, School teaching practice, Didactics, etc.
In addition to teaching activity, I am a research assistant at the same Faculty and have numerous publications in national/international scientific journals.
In addition, I was a reviewer and proofreader of scientific papers published in significant journals (e.g., Cancers, Medicina, ncRNA).
I’m also a beekeeper hobbyist.
