自己紹介

Konichiwa!
My name is Sydney and I live near Washington D.C.! I have worked with children for the last 5 years and I love it. I am also part Japanese, so I am excited to work with you! My grandmother, my baba-sama, grew up in Sasebo until she met my grandfather and moved to America. She started teaching me Japanese late in my life, but I am enjoying it!
This is the perfect experience for me because I love teaching children and I love my Japanese heritage. After teaching for a few years, I moved up to the administrative side of the school because I love working with families and teachers. I enjoy being outside and playing with my 'kawaii neko', Nugget and Tiny.

名前からはオーストラリアを連想すると思いますが、ネブラスカ州出身のアメリカ人講師です。現在はワシントンD.Cの近くに住んでいるそうです。祖母が日本人のクォーターで、日本語は話すことができませんが、日本語の挨拶や文化に親しみがあるのでとても話しやすいです。現在はプリスクールの先生として働いており、子供が大好きとのこと。休日は飼っている２匹の猫と遊んだり、アウトドアアクティビティーを行うことが多いそうです。
