TESOL certified with teaching experience.BA Hons degree in French Studies.

自己紹介

I completed my TESOL course in 2011 before moving to Japan for 3 years. I lived in Tokyo and taught in elementary schools, as well as doing some 1 to 1 teaching. I loved my time in Japan and continued to study Japanese when I returned to England. I am currently working hard to improve my Japanese and I will be taking the JLPT N3 exam next year. I am happy to use some Japanese in lessons if necessary.
My hobbies include travelling, baking and reading. I am also very interested in Japanese culture and hope to live there again in the future.
I know that communicating in another language can be nerve-wracking so my aim is to make my students feel comfortable and confident. I am truly passionate about sharing my culture and helping Japanese students improve their English.

日本に遊びに来たのがきっかけで、日本を大好きになり、３年間日本の様々な小学校でALT講師として英語を教えていました。現在は自分で日本語を猛勉強中で、近々、日本語能力試験のN３（日常的な場面で使われる日本語をある程度理解することができるレベル）を受験する予定です。日本の様々なことが好きですが、一番は景色や四季の伝統行事だそうです。学生時代はフランス語を選考しており、フランスにも少し滞在していたことがある、マルチリンガルな講師です。
