自己紹介

Hello there! My name is Maria. I have spent years educating students and helping them prepare for English proficiency tests such as the IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC. I went to pre-med school before earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of San Agustin. After years of working in the family construction business, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching. I enjoy drawing ballpoint pen portraits, reading, watching American TV shows, and doing karate.

長年オンラインで日本人、韓国人などの生徒をメインに英語を教えた経験があるため、日本人の間違えやすい文法や発音などへの指導がとても的確です。優しくゆっくりと話してくれるので初心者の方でも安心してレッスンが受けられます。お休みの日は新書を読んだり、アメリカのドラマを見ることが好きだそうです。また絵を描くこと、空手が特技です。

「これはどのように言えばよいのだろう？」と思っていると、すぐに新しい言い回しや語彙を教えてくださるので、大変勉強になります。レッスンも話しやすい雰囲気だったのでたくさん話すことができました。

I was able to practice my skills without hesitation.
In her class, I could actively speak and freely ask questions about why things are natural. By doing so, I was able to understand everything without any worries or regrets.

It was a wonderful class!
Her class always makes me feel like I’m not just attending lessons, and I really like Mrs. Maria’s approach.

When I couldn’t answer the questions effectively, she taught me how to say them and had me repeat the phrases. Because of this, I felt like I wasn’t just listening to the explanation but also learning new expressions.
