自己紹介
I am a TESOL/TEFL certified and experienced English language teacher committed to giving students the best possible education, and helping them develop a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and cross-cultural understanding.
I have 5 years of teaching experience including 2 years of online teaching. I have taught students of all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and ages (kids, teenagers, and adults) from all around the world including Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy and Spain. I have experience in many areas of English such as everyday English conversation, Business English, job interview preparation, Travel English, Medical English, basic and advanced grammar, as well as preparation for English exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, Eiken and OPIc. Aside from English I can also speak German. I taught German, Mathematics and Physics part-time during my university studies.
Some of my other interests are Japanese contemporary culture and visual arts (movies, manga, anime, J-Rock), traveling, hiking, geography, history, classical music, economy, politics, and fashion. I was interested in Japanese culture since I was a child and that led me to research Ukiyo-e and Japanese architecture and to learn Japanese language (conversational). I did some volunteering for the Japanese Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I also lived in Japan for 6 months where I volunteered in the education field.
I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures and traditions. My goal is to share knowledge, make bridges between cultures and help my students achieve their goals using the best techniques and approaches. Keep on learning and don't be afraid of mistakes. They will help you grow and become stronger and better. Learning a new language opens new doors and lets us see the world from many different perspectives. I am looking forward to meeting you.

紳士的な印象の男性講師です。日本の浮世絵がヨーロッパアートシーンへいかに影響をおこしたのかなどを勉強したことがあるそうで、また建築家の安藤忠雄さんも好きという芸術的な一面ももつ講師です。日本の文化が好きといこから日本語も会話のリスニングであれば多少できるそうです。レッスンは、TESOLを取得しており、話し方がゆったりと丁寧で、間違えてしまった部分についても説明がとてもわかりやすいです。英語にちょっと自信がなくてもとても優しく教えてくれるのでオススメです。

スクリプト前の雑談で、私が喉乾いてるから、梨（Pear）食べてるといい、梨を見せたら、
Avdija先生は「ナシ…」と日本語でつぶやき、ほほ笑んでいた笑顔がラブリーでした！

2回目のレッスンで少し緊張していたのですが、心配無用でした。説明の例文もわかりやすく、とても集中して受けることができ、あっという間のレッスンでした。また受けたいです。

落ち着いた柔らかい物腰の先生で、安心してレッスンを受けられました。スクリプトや発音もきちんと指摘して頂けますし、最後にアドバイスもして頂けるので、これからの学習の参考になります。

スクリプトについて最初に自分の書いたところを、その後に役を交代して会話して、その後フリーディスカションで、似たようなシチュエーションを想定した会話練習を行った。スピーキング向上させたい人には会話量も多く良いと思う。ゆっくり丁寧に話してくれるのでわかりやすい。質問にも丁寧に答えてくれた。
