自己紹介
Hi! I'm Erica. I'm from Michigan in the USA. I have a degree with highest honors in Spanish and Japanese from Eastern Michigan University. I taught English in Niigata, Japan, for 2 years in 1 junior high school and 4 elementary schools. Before that, I worked and studied Japanese in Shiga. I studied Spanish in Mexico, too, so I know what it's like to study other languages!

In addition to teaching in schools in Japan, I've always enjoyed tutoring students. I tutored adults in Japan, both individual students and groups. I've also tutored Japanese people living in the US.

My Japanese students were always very happy that I can understand Japanese and help them say what they want to say in English. I need to keep studying Japanese, too, especially kanji! I like to help students reach their goals and feel comfortable expressing themselves in English.

My hobbies include travel, reading, music, movies, cooking, making crafts, and meeting people from around the world. I have friends in many countries. Recently my family took a trip to Paris and London. While we were there, we met with my friends from Mexico and Japan who are now living in Europe! My favorite city in the world is Kyoto. Maybe I can meet you someday?
