I have too many things I want to tell you! Concert at Hatch shell, kayaking on Charles river, Duck tour. Speaking about foods, clam chowder and Samuel adams beer was so delicious. But the most interesting thing in Boston for me was cross-cultural communication in English with school friends and host families! That was the greatest experience.

Boston marathon? I don't know about that very much. Is that famous event in the U.S.? I stayed with only one host family. The family had 7 members. Father, mother, two sons and three daughters. While I stayed there, the oldest daughter had her wedding ceremony.

Speaking about my trip, I learned that English is a communication tool. For example, car is transporting tool. If you want to be a good driver, you have to drive a car a lot of times as you can. I think it is same to English. The most important and the most fun part of English is communicating, neither grammar nor vocabulary.

I think that people in the U.S. tend to find out who is responsible. When we go restaurants in the U.S., only one waiter serves dishes to us. We tip the waiter depends on his/her service. In contrast, all waiters serve all tables at restaurants in Japan, and we don't tip. Sometimes Japanese people like obscuration.
