Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called for a new interpretation of the constitution, which could pave the way for the military to fight overseas. It is really controversial because Japan's constitution bans acts of war and "the threat or use of force" to settle international disputes.

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called for a new interpretation of the constitution, which could pave the way for the military to be able to fight overseas. It is really controversial because Japan's constitution bans acts of war and "the threat or use of force" to settle international disputes.

There was also a controversy before on which some parts of the F-35 fighter plane could be manufactured in Japan.

Oh, I didn't know what is about the F-35 at all. Now Japanese might be a major turning point.

#correct

Oh, I have never heard about that. Now, Japan may t be a major turning point.

I think it was controversial because violated the law that Japan should not export arms and military equipment. By manufacturing some parts of the F-35 Japan will be exporting military equipment. Another concern by other countries particularly China is the increase of Japanese military spending.

I agree with you. Foreign policy that puts the economy ahead of all else is wrong even if our country is beset with troubles both at home and abroad, like the uncertainty of Japanese economy and North Korean and Chinese threat.

Do you think Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is being reserved about this issue or is he considered a dangerous figure?

I think that healthy working of a parliamentary democracy hasn't grown up in Japan yet. That's why our parliament is just following the majority or opinion of America. It isn't mature. That is a problem.

So in your point of view, how do you think the Japanese government should work out to improve and resolve this issue?

Basically Japanese ordinary people should talk about the politic more seriously as a very important issue to build a happy life not for us but next generation in a long-term view. It must cause the change of our parliament. It is problem that government and people misunderstand the nature of happiness just as the issue of the economy. It's wrong.
