What could the government do to attract international students to choose your country for studying abroad?

Japanese governments can take two main initiatives to make Japanese universities more attractive for international students. First, the government can prepare and offer a wider range of scholarship programs. For most foreign students, the cost of studying abroad is one of the major concerns, so reducing the burden by scholarships can lead to an increase in the number of applications from abroad. Second, the government can facilitate internship programs by cooperating with universities and private companies. This initiative can attract more prospective students since many of them are interested in working in Japanese companies after graduation.

Second, someone who have foreign degrees cultivated a lot of perseverance and focus in foreign universities. It is challenging to foresee the future popularity of studying abroad, but I believe that the number of students will remain at almost the same level.
The advent of useful technologies might reduce the importance of studying abroad. Nowadays, people can access numerous academic papers by computers and attend online classes, which makes some argue that students can learn expertise without going to foreign schools. However, considering our globalized world, the experiences and human connections gained during the time will definitely have a beneficial impact on individuals. Therefore, I assume that the popularity will be stable in the future.
