How do you feel now?

Yesterday at the office, one of our partners from Hiroshima came to visit us.
He brought chocolate brownies as a gift, which we all enjoyed over tea.
The brownies were very rich in chocolate and delicious.

1. You may also use ''One of our partners from Hiroshima came to visit us yesterday''.
Sounds nice. What kind of tea did you have with it? Is it common in your company's culture to bring souvenirs when coming from a different place?

I had tea, but everyone else had coffee.
Yes, it is.
Even if we don't go anywhere special, everyone in my department has culture of sharing snacks every day.

1. Use indefinite articles the first time you mention a countable noun: ''a'' for nouns starting with consonant sounds and ''an'' for words beginning with vowel sounds.
That's cute. It's a nice way to bond with your colleagues. What snacks do you usually share with them? Also, is your department strict when it comes to break times?

The time to take breaks is left to each individual, and even within the working hours, a few late arrivals are not a problem. We can give priority to our children's school activities, and it is a good and understanding place to work.
