洗面所は水はもちろん歯磨き粉や整髪料等を使う機会も多いので、比較的家の中でも汚れやすい場所と言えるでしょう。それに加え友人やお客さんが訪問してきた際には洗面所はかなりの頻度で使用される場所になります。汚れやすく、かつお客さんに見られやすい場所なので、洗面台は普段からよく掃除しておくとよいでしょう。日本の飲食店では、トイレや洗面台がきれいかどうか評価に影響を与える場合もありますね。海外では日本のトイレや洗面台の質の高さは有名ですが、先述のような、洗面台がその家や店の評価に影響を与えるという文化がどこか関係をしているのかもしれません。

I can see a toilet and a sink in this picture. This toilet is an electric toilet seat called "Washlet" in Japan. People can keep the temperature of the seat warm in winter and wash their buts with the water shower coming out from the nozzle attached inside of the toilet. The sink has two faucets, I think one is for water and the other one is for soap. They are all white and look very clean. I can also see a hook for a towel but there is no towel hung on it.

2. No need for this verb, it's redundant.
3. The preposition "from" is used to show the cause of something or the reason why something happens.
4. The adverb "therefore" means "for that reason".
You have really raised a valid point. It is always important to make sure that you have enough ventilation so you don't feel dizzy. Is it more common to have a shower or a bath in your country?

In Japan, it is more common to have both a shower and a bathtub in a bathroom and a shower is usually set beside a bathtub. On the other hand, in the US, all the bathrooms have a shower; however, sometimes a shower is set on the top of a bathtub and not separated, and sometimes it is set in a shower room without a bathtub, and I have never seen the one which is separated from a bathtub.

Even it was uncomfortable to wear high heels, I needed to wear them anyway because it was our business manner. In the US, people don't generally use a train for transportation and also don't have to wear high heels. It seems that people don't have to force themselves to fit in with something like in Japan. Moreover, what I like about US life is that there is a lot of nature everywhere.
