Please describe this picture.

There are 14 people running on a peaceful road. I can see 4 people who are wearing black shirts, two people who are wearing red shirts, and 5 people who are wearing white shirts. They are all wearing black pants. I can see a red cone which has some kind of mark on it, and a white pole on the right side. I can see some green in the top right, and a small sidewalk, too.

1. the phrase "There are 14 people running" appears to be wordy. consider replacing it with a shorter alternative
Okay, that's a good description. What's your impression of the people in the picture? It looks they are elderly people.

I can see some elderly people, so I think that it's not a big marathon. There is a family marathon near my house, too, so I think this marathon is a family marathon or something near to it. There are some young people, so I am guessing that this marathon is not too long for elderly people, and not too short for young people.

1. an alternative expression you can use. "long" is having much distance from one terminating point on an object or an area to another terminating point
You are right. It's not a major marathon event. Personally, I can't endure running long distances. Do you ever take part in marathons?

Right now, I have to run 1000 meters in my school's P.E. class, and the boys need to run 1500 meters. I like the 1000 meter marathon better than running for a short time, because I'm not very fast at running. Though, when it comes to 1000 meter marathon, I can get faster than usual. This is the reason I like 1000 meter marathon.

1. unnecessary use of a comma in this context. consider removing it
2.3. use the article "the" when referring to something specific
Okay, that sounds nice. Personally, I don't have the endurance to run even for a kilometer. Which other exercises do you have in your P.E. class?

I have done basketball, volleyball, mat exercise, and I need to do softball and judo after the 1000 meter run. I liked volleyball and basketball the best, but I like softball more than any other exercises.

1.2. an alternative expression you can use. since you are referring to some sporting activity you have done and also you need to do, the verb "play" is more natural in this context
Okay, that's good. Your school encouraged people to stay fit. How do you do mat exercise? Is it like yoga?

Well, I did it for the first time too, but it was very interesting. I need to roll over the mats, and also I need to do cartwheel. It was very hard for me at first, but I liked to do it a lot.
