Please describe this picture.

There is a couple and three kids who are about to have a meal in this picture. I guess they are a family. The mother is standing and have a bowl on her left hand. She's giving something from the bowl for children. All children are waiting for her. The father is looking at them smiling.

1. Use singular verb forms with singular subjects.
2. Use the preposition "in" here which is defined as - inside a container, place, or area, or surrounded or closed off by something.
3. Use the determiner "the" to refer to something in particular.
Well done with your description of this picture. What type of food do you think the mother is dishing?

I can't see well what's inside the bowl, but as I see the color red and yellow, I guess they're fruit or salad.

1. Use the plural noun "colors" when referring to more than one color.
Yes, maybe they could be having some fruit or salad.

Please tell me a bit about your family. Do you have meals with them these days?

I got married two years ago and I live with my husband now. Since I get up early in the morning and my husband wakes up much later, we don't have breakfast together on weekdays. But on weekends, we sometimes go to McDonald's for breakfast. We usually order a salty muffin set. The muffin includes sausage, cheese and egg. We love it.
I think eating breakfast separately is not unusual in Japan. Because most people are so busy in the morning that they can't have a meal with their family. Also, some people skip their breakfast.

1. When writing, avoid using the conjunctions “and”, “but”, and “so” to start sentences.
2. Use a serial/series comma before the coordinating conjunction "and" and the final item in a list or series.
Thank you for sharing that with me. The same situation applies here, I must say. Having that McDonald's muffin is my cup of tea, as well! Can you remember a scene when your family was able to have that kind of gathering just like the one in the picture?

That was when I was a child, over thirty years ago. When I lived with my parents, my mother made us pizza toasts every weekend. My younger sister and I were always looking forward to it and enjoy eating together. That is my good memory.

1. Use the past tense when referring to something that happened and was completed in the past.
That is indeed a good memory. When you start having kids would you consider having such an arrangement?

Of course! Spending time with loved ones is important, and it's much better to have nice food.
