I don't agree with the purpose for which the tax is being used. Other than my opinion, I heard many opinions in public as below.
-The gap between the rich and the poor is manifested to the majority of the poor -and the minority of the rich. Consumption tax is a tax that is hard on low income earners and friendly to the rich; it hurts the wallets of low income earners.
-Rather than sucking up taxes from all the people, we would like the Diet members to review their own incomes.
