I'd like to share my experiences and thoughts about my trips. I try to travel abroad at least once a year because I've realized that my time in life is limited. Don't jump to conclusions, though, I don't have a fatal illness or anything like that. However, since I'm no longer in my twenties or thirties, these coming years are the last chance for me to truly enjoy encountering both positive and negative experiences without having to constantly worry about my physical condition."

Of course, it's better to avoid trouble, but I believe even unpleasant moments can be meaningful. That's just the nature of travel as long as it's nothing too serious. Anyway, I've visited several countries and met up with local friends there. Those were wonderful times and even highly efficient trips. On the other hand, it still felt like just sightseeing, and I didn't quite get that sense of a deeper, more immersive experience.

Once you reach your destination, you are forced to converse with people you don't know, unlike when you're with family or friends. If you go abroad but spend the entire time with the same people, it's like just scratching the surface of that place. It's comfortable, but too shallow for me. I prefer a much deeper experience, one where I can reflect, think, and truly learn something new when I visit a far-off land.
