How are your investments in the stock market doing?

On a roll! Stocks fell Wednesday because there is little hope that the Federal Reserve will be able to lower interest rates this year. The S&P, the Nasdaq Composite, and the Dow Jones dipped. Money appeared to flow to bonds. Still, the S&P won't lose momentum for a while, though it fell slightly today. The airline industry this week is fantastic. At the head of United Airlines, other airlines also gained. I sold all airlines before, though.

United Airlines and other airlines have doing well.
I had previously sold all my airline stocks before, though.

Thanks for sharing the update on the stock market! It's interesting to see the impact of Federal Reserve expectations on the market. What factors do you typically consider when deciding to buy or sell airline stocks?

I wanted to focus on fewer companies when I sold airlines' stocks. If I have opportunities, I will repurchase them. Others say I like vehicles like trains, airplanes, and defense. AI-related companies have been gaining attention from investors, but I can't say I have an interest in them.

1. Correct your pronoun usage.
It's wise to focus on companies that align with your interests and expertise. Are there any specific factors or industries that typically influence your investment decisions, aside from your preference for vehicles and defense?

I care about whether I like the company. So far, I have yet to pay much attention to financial statements. What I like about a company's products or services sometimes means something other than that I like the company. I can pick up businesses like that. On the other hand, there is a company I need help understanding well, but I like it. For example, I need to familiarize myself with what Elon Musk is doing, but I want to root for him. I have yet to hold stocks related to him. Someday, I will do.

Sometimes, I appreciate a company's products or services without necessarily liking the product itself.
That's how I select companies to invest in.
