Can you tell us about where you live in your country?

I live in Osaka, Japan. Osaka is Japan's second largest city after Tokyo. It's located about 400 kilometers west of Tokyo. The downtown area in Osaka is divided into the north area and the south area. The north area is centered around Umeda and the south area around Namba and Shinsaibashi. Because Umeda is a business center, many high-rise buildings stand in the north area. In contrast, because Namba and Shinsaibashi are in an entertainment center, many commercial facilities stand in the south area.

1 - add a hyphen here because this becomes one adjective that qualifies 'city'.
I see. Are you happy staying in Osaka? Is there anything that you don't like about it or would want to see changed?

Yes, I personally prefer to the culture of Osaka. However, there is something that we should be careful. People in Osaka say that as joke, not seriously in most case. The joke is hard to convey to people living in other cities. It makes the other person feel bad depending on the situation.

1 - there's no need for a preposition
2 - careful 'about'
3 - use 'a' because you're referring to one joke
4 - should be plural because you said 'most'
Does that mean that the people of Osaka have a sense of humour that is hard for others to understand?

It depends on the person. People of Osaka get carried away with a prank. Their sense of humor is rooted in their culture of comedy. They are generally talkative and too direct. I think that they are cheerful and don't have two-faced in a positive sense.

1 - use 'the' because you're referring to a specific group of people
2 - you meant to say 'are not two-faced' - use the verb 'to be' to qualify people.
Hmm. I cannot stand hypocrites and I prefer direct people at times. What are some of the famous dishes of Osaka?

I see. The famous dishes of Osaka is Takoyaki. It's a popular savory snack in the shape of little round balls. It contains pieces of octopus served with Takoyaki sauce and Japanese mayo. Have you eaten it?

1 - should be singular because you're referring to one specific dish.
No, I have never had it but I certainly have heard a lot about it. It must be really tasty. Please do tell me a little more about Osaka.

Yes, it's tasty. If you come you Japan, you must try it. Osaka Castle is one of the most famous landmarks in Osaka. It played a major role in the Japanese history. The main tower was used as the place to escape into in case of an attack and as a storehouse. It was rebuilt in 1931 and the the original does not exist anymore. The exterior architectural design is the same from ancient times, but its interior is actually quite modern. I'll show you around.

1 - come 'to' Japan (use the preposition 'to')
2 - you wrote 'the' twice by mistake.
