I'm living near an old downtown in central Tokyo. There are many sightseeing spots, such as shrines, temples, and hotels. More and more foreigners are looking for room rent while staying in Japan. Such accommodations are also located in the neighborhood. I see foreign tourists daily.

The area where I live is famous for its many storied restaurants, including ramen restaurants. Ramen can be divided into roughly four types: miso, soy sauce, salt, and pork bone called tonkotsu. According to a travel agency, miso has good reviews in English, pork bone in Korean, and soy sauce in Chinese and Korean. Miso soup and soy sauce belong to Hokkaido ramen, tonkotsu does to Kyusyu ramen, and pork bone soy sauce does to Tokyo ramen.

There are so many such facilities. You can visit some of them. There are also spas such as sentoes, hot stone spas, and saunas. Of them, I recommend hot stone spas because you don't have to be naked. Sentoes are separated from likes and dislikes. Soaking hair in the bathtub is prohibited for sanitary reasons. There's a contradiction. I always wonder why pubic hair is allowed to soak, and hair isn't. Most Japanese women don't treat pubic hair very much and hairy, though I've nothing left by laser hair removal.
