Could you tell me the development schedule of the latest product.

OK. Do you have the scheduling chart that I sent you by e-mail?
We have to finalize the specifications by the end of the month. After that, we are going to provide our customers with off tools samples in December.
If we cannot finalize it on time, we'll be behind the schedule.

We have to finalize the specifications by the end of the month. After that, we are going to provide our customers with off tools samples in December.
If we're not able to finalize it by the deadline, we'll become further and further behind schedule.

That must be challenging. Do you think you would need more manpower, so it would be easier for us to meet the deadline?

Thanks for your understanding. I agree with your opinion. I guess we are too understaffed to deal with this program. Besides, according to the production department, the prototype line doesn't seem to be available until this weekend. What should we do?

Why was the prototype line so delayed? I'll try to coordinate with the HR and see if they can provide us with more manpower. How many more people do you think we need in order to meet the deadline?
#miss

Because some equipment in the prototype line is out of service right now, and it'll take two or three days to fix it. I think three people would be fine to keep the milestone.

Ok, I hope the HR department would be able to help us in finding enough manpower. Is there any more possible suggestions that we can do in order to meet the deadline? We really need to be on track!

Thanks. I think we should take advantage of the subcontractor. I'll ask them if they have enough capacity. On the other hand, I'll try to negotiate with the customer if they allow us to move up the deadline. That's all what I can say at the moment.

If you are certain that the subcontractor will carry out the task up to standard you should go ahead and let them handle it. Do you have any jobs these subcontractors have done before that you know about?
#miss

OK. After the internal approval, I'll request them to do these tasks immediately. I know the useful subcontractor, and I've requested them similar kinds of tasks before.
I think we should have a meeting regarding this issue. Please let me know what time would be good for you.
