ifを用いた仮定法を使って講師と会話してみましょう。
直説法と仮定法の違いはなんでしょうか?それは表したい出来事が実際に起きたり、 起きる可能性があるのか(直説法)、それともそうでなく、現実的に考えにくいのか(仮定法)ということです。 直説法にも仮定法にもifを用います。例えば、 直説法:If you give me money, I will be happy.ーもしお金をくれたら僕はハッピーだな。 仮定法:If you gave me money, I would be happy.ーもしお金をくれたら僕はハッピーだな(そんなことないだろうけど)。 大切なのは話し手自身が「起こりそうなのか、起こらないのか」を考えているということです。 仮定法が過去形なのは、現実離れしたことに対する距離を表しているから。 回答例はちょっとネガティヴですね。 ※過去形と距離の関係はレッスン「過去形を使ってみよう」へ。 【回答例】 If she asked me out, I would be say okay. もし彼女がデートに誘ってくれたら、OKするのにな(おそらくないけど)

1. Use a/an before a singular noun to show that what is referred to is not already known to the speaker, listener, writer and/or reader or that it's not a specific thing.
2. More natural usage.

If I bought flight tickes earlier, I wouldn't have to pay that amount of money.(I want to say the flight tickets were expensive.)
If I bought flight tickets earlier, the price wouldn't go that high.
If I hadn't drunk that amount of alcohol, I wouldn't feel terrible like this.
If I chose another choice in the multiple question, I would pass the tests.
If I brought my student card, I would get a student discount.
If my sister told me she had baked a cake, I wouldn't buy something sweet in the grocery store.

1. 6. Use "the" with specific things, or when you are referring to something that's already been mentioned or is known by the listener.

3. 8. 10. Third conditional: if + past perfect, ...would + have + past participle. It talks about the past, used to describe a situation that didn't happen, and to imagine the result of this situation.
4. To avoid repetition of "chose/choice..."

9. Use "it" to refer to the previously mentioned test without repeating the full expression again.

3. Corrected what? Use "them" to refer to the sentences mentioned above to make this sentence fuller and clearer.
