ifを用いた直説法を使って講師と会話してみましょう。
直説法と仮定法の違いはなんでしょうか?それは表したい出来事が実際に起きたり、 起きる可能性があるのか(直説法)、それともそうでなく、現実的に考えにくいのか(仮定法)ということです。 直説法にも仮定法にもifを用います。例えば、 直説法:If you give me money, I will be happy.ーもしお金をくれたら僕はハッピーだな。 仮定法:If you gave me money, I would be happy.ーもしお金をくれたら僕はハッピーだな(そんなことないだろうけど)。 大切なのは話し手自身が「起こりそうなのか、起こらないのか」を考えているということです。 なので回答例はポジティブな例になります。 仮定法が過去形なのは、現実離れしたことに対する距離を表しているからですね。 ※過去形と距離の関係はレッスン「過去形を使ってみよう」へ。 【回答例】 If she asks me out, I will say okay. もし彼女がデートに誘ってくれたら、OKするだろうな
