「〜しなければならない」義務をあらわす助動詞はなんでしょうか?代表的なものは①must ②should ③have toといった表現でしょうか。 ①must 強いプレッシャーを感じさせる助動詞です。You must〜と使いますが、命令形と同じくらいのインパクトを与えます。 ②should mustに比べて圧力は弱まりました。「〜すべき」「〜した方がいい」といったニュアンスです。 ③have to mustと同じくらいのプレッシャーを持ちますが、mustとの違いは「客観性」。 mustがとにかく強い思いの元に使われるのに対し、have toはそれが使われるだけの理由や証拠があるという場合に活きてきます。 【回答例】 You must not smoke here. ここで喫煙したらダメだよ What should we do next? 私たちは次は何をしたらいい?
