English is very difficult for me. I'm especially bad at listening. However, I was scheduled to speak English at work. Listening skills are also required because of the Q&A session. I wish someone would invent a tool that improves my English in a moment.

Recently, I have been watching movies with English subtitles and changing the language settings on my smartphone and PC. I feel that I'm gradually losing my resistance to listening to English.

I hope so. In terms of vocabulary, I think reading a vocabulary book is a shortcut to improvement. However, I stopped reading because it made me so sleepy. Now, I try to memorize the words that appear when I look up the English words I want to say. I'm not good at pronunciation, but now I focus more on listening and speaking.

Yes, sometimes I listen to English podcasts. In particular, I listen to the content called "Hapa Eikaiwa"    provided by Jun, who is half Japanese and American. It's so interesting and easy to understand. I think I can see my progress in English conversation.

If I do too many things at once, my hands will be full, so I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing for a while. However, I would be happy to make a foreign friend I can talk to easily.
