As a whole, bond is a kind of debt which includes loan. Both need to pay its periodic interest and principle by the end of the tenor. Otherwise, all of the principle and accrued interests become due and payable on demand by the bond investors. Please don't be afraid of the risk. Here, I have some funds worth investing in without any risk. The first one is bond funds specified for solar farms. Solar farms can earn almost fixed income from selling generated electricity, so you could guess how safely this fund can pay off all the debt.

What about wind farms?
Are they as profitable?
It depends on contries where the farms are located. In Japan, wind doesn't blow so constantly that its operator is difficult to predict how strongly wind blow and to which directions it blows. Consequently, it can't be easily marketized here. I'm not familiar with the current status abroad, but anyway, you might want to invest in yen-demoninated funds. I recommend you invest in bond funds for solar farms, not wind farms, taking what I explained into account.

Actually, I have so many sorts of bond funds which I'd like to recommend to you, but please remember that many of them have quite low interest rate which doesn't sound appealing to you. I know you need at least one percent interest rate for an investment. Out of what I can offer, the fund for solar farms is the highest rate and is over one percent. Others can't exceed the figure, which is the reason why I stick to this investment.
