What will you do after your study abroad?

I will be back to a company in Japan to work because I have been taking a sabbatical leave for studying abroad now. Studying abroad for one year has been priceless moments for me. I would like to fully leverage what I learned in my job. How about you? Do you have any specific plans after study abroad?

I want to look for a better job after I get back to my home country. Will you get promoted after acquiring the degree?

I do not think so. Acquiring the degree does not contribute to be promoted, but higher English capability is one of the essential criteria for being promoted to director in our company. Thus, I think that studying abroad for one year should be very benefitial for me to further develop my career. I believe that you will find a better job after getting back to your home country.

I see. How much has your English improved? Do you think that you possess necessary English skills for becoming the director in your company?

My latest TOEIC score was 930 before study abroad. Thus, I expect to get even higher score after study abroad. My target score is at least more than 950. I think that 950 is good enough to be promoted to Chief Director in my company. Other than TOEIC score, I would like to further improve my speaking and listening capabilities.
