What kind of person are you?

When I see someone in need, I feel compelled to help them.

1. You may also use ''assist'' instead of ''help''.
That's very generous and kind of you. Have there been times when you felt like helping a person but couldn't do anything exactly?

Recently, I rode a train from Tokyo Station to my neighboring station. An old couple rushed into the train, and they would like to walk through from an ordinary car to the premier car. Unfortunately, the door is one-way, we can open the door from the premier car side, but not from the ordinary car door. They need to wait for the next stop to move the premier car, but the old man seems difficult to stand without his stick. Therefore I offered him to sit down in my seat.

Yes, I do. After I offered him to sit down, his wife told him they need to change the car from an ordinary car to a premiere car when the train would stop at the next station. Meanwhile, he seems tired and had his stick and carry bag with a handle. Therefore, I said I would carry his bag because I would get off the train next stop anyway. I was glad they could change the car safely.
