I forgot my bag.

May I ask you where you left it and what type of bag it is?

#or

Please tell me where you last saw it, and what it looks like.

The last place I recall having it is at the coffee shop, but I had it when I left there. It's a black shoulder bag, with one large main compartment and two smaller pockets on the front.

Ok, your bag is a black shoulder bag with two small pockets on the front. And, what material is it made of, leather or fabric? Did you put something valuables in it?

It's a fabric, but to be honest I don't know what type. It's got some work documents in it, which are important to me, but not necessarily valuable.

I got it. I am going to call the coffee shop and ask about it right now. Could you please wait a few minutes having a seat over there?

Certainly, thank you. I'm fairly certain I left with my bag though, so perhaps one of the mall staff found it in the hallways.

It is exactly right as you say. I will call the security guard station of the shopping mall, too.
Hopefully, the bag would be sent there by someone.

Thank you. How long will it take for them to check for it?

I think I can tell you the result in five minutes or so. Then, I'll be right back.
