On the other hand, many argue that the positive impacts do not outweigh the negative ones, like cyberbullying, false information, and the stealing of personal information. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

 Ultimately I think the pros far outweigh the cons. When thinking about those in less privileged communities, social networking helps people find other like-minded people. In addition to that, video and messaging sites and apps have broken down barriers to information for people who are limited in their choices whether due to economic or regional boundaries. Thanks to this, people can receive a quality education just like someone who went to a top-name university.
