- Hello everyone! My name is Eddie. I'm from Chicago, Illinois. (Go Chicago Bulls!) I'm currently pursing a master's degree at LIU post in New York. I have a TESOL certificate from the International TEFL Academy in Chicago.
I taught English as a second language in both South Korea and Taiwan for about 3 years. (Oh how I miss delicious Taiwanese beef noodles and Korea's yummy Samgyeopsal.) It was a wonderful experience filled with meeting lots of great people and sharpening my teaching skills. Finding creative ways to make learning English fun and effective was one of my favorite parts about teaching English in Asia.
Traveling, writing, reading fantasy novels, dancing, listening to music and playing the piano are some of my favorite hobbies. I love watching movies and anime too. Dragon Ball Z, Baki the Grappler, Hajime No Ippo, Bleach and Naruto are my favorite anime series! I also love sports and physical fitness. My high-energy personality is definitely in harmony with my teaching style.
